Cyclical vs. Linear History

There are two views of history: cyclical and linear. Cyclical cycles between chaos and order. Linear has a beginning and end. Holding a cyclical view of time might make someone pessimistic about the future because we're heading towards chaos.

Capital is anything that makes us able to serve others better. A cyclical view makes me not want to build capital because there's going to be chaos. A linear view makes me want to build capital because God has a purpose for the end because He's coming again.
